| Description | Just concerned with the chat box itself - the thing that appears when you hit "t". A few suggestions. 1. the chat box should probably not be smack dab in the middle of the screen. 2. the chat box takes up a lot more screen real estate than it has to. There's a huge border around it that's not really necessary. It'd make sense if the entry field was located somewhere chat-related (like under the place chat messages appear). My particular objection is that 3. some background transparency would be helpful. In particular, I feel like the message log background could benefit from it, so that you can still see what's going on to an extent. With a full message log and a high resolution it obscures a full third of the screen. 4. Possibly most importantly, at least on the Mac client the "Esc" key does not leave the dialogue and the "Enter" key does not send the message. On a related note, the "Cancel" and "Send" buttons should be superfluous - you have to write the message with the keyboard anyway! Just a few suggestions to make the text communication a lot more usable. | ||||
