Summary0007504: Can we let Shift to be used in conjunction with mouse clicks? KB+Mouse UI annoyance
DescriptionI play a lot of games with a 3 button mouse, and would love to get more utility out of the game than I'm getting at the moment. Right now, I have 3 ranged spells assigned to my mouse 1, 2, and wheel button. I would love to be able to assign another 3 or 6 spells to the mouse by allowing shift-mouse 1, shift-mouse 2, or control-mouse 1, control-mouse 2, etc. It's getting frustrating swapping spells or needing to stop and use Q or 4 or 7 (what I've bound to Death Touch, Wood Crate, and Wood Platform respectively), as doing so impedes movement.

There's even a note on all the Abilities that states that binding a mouse button to these abilities 'never results in useful behavior.' Seriously? Please, let me bind my keys how I want!

So far, loving the game!

Check out here on the forums for how to do this. Not totally supported, but I have been using it for a week now, and it's great!

Thanks, Penumbra! I'll use that method in the meantime.
