| Description | I have tried to launch the game via Steam multiple times, and every time it's gotten stuck on Loading Items From Disk: 1. I have tried verifying the cache in case files were messed up and running the game as an administrator in case it was a permissions issue. It gets stuck on that at different places; it's done that before even getting to the menu, when going to the second screen, upon warping, upon entering the warp area, and finally after I died once, so it was not an issue at a specific place. | ||||

Usually with something like this it's an antivirus program interfering the game; although usually it happens earlier in the process than that when the antivirus is at fault. You may also want to try making sure to hit properties on the game and verify your steam cache just to make sure that steam downloaded everything properly for the game; it doesn't always do so. |

Spyware Terminator is the culprit. Should've known; it has issues with a couple other games too. |
