| Description | I remember seeing somewhere that Power slide was meant to be a later drop, to keep new people from getting stuck without any means of escape. Well, I just started a game (Advanced start) and my first enchantment was power slide. Now, I have no problems with this, but I'm just going by what I remember seeing here. If this is working as intended, I'm gonna feel pretty sheepish. | ||||

Hmmm, I don't think this should be happening in an advanced start. Is there any chance it was expert? |

None at all, I always do Advanced starts, and in fact with this latest patch (1.029) I obtained a power slide from the Settlements starter enchantment canister thingies. |

No worries -- there's no unlockables gating these at all, so you can get them immediately. Our intention wasn't to prevent new players from using them (although, not in the intro mission), but rather to prevent new players from _accidentally_ using them. If you equip them and know what they do, then slide down a hole, it seems to me that's fair game. If we wind up with complaints of people confused we can always start gating them, but for now I haven't heard of any substantial need to do that. |
