Summary0008176: Game crashes after entering door
DescriptionEvery time i try to enter "boss room 10" in a boss tower mission, the game crashes (screen became black but music is still running).

region type: ice age plains, 3rd continent, Tier 2

edit: i put the world into a rar file and uploaded it here. the charakter should stand in the stairway and there should be an ice bat, so don't be scarred =)

Got the same problem here but in a stealth assassinantion mission.
I can go in all room's, but the last one with the boss i got that blackscreen too.

Maybe he can't load 1 boss type?

* Fixed a bug in the prior version where, if the game was unable to seed a boss in a boss room, it would essentially lock up.

* Improved the boss seeding logic yet again so that if it can't seed a boss at first, it will remove all the background ladders. If it still can't seed them, it will remove all the crates. This dramatically increases the chance that a boss can seed in any boss room, although ideally in most cases this would never even come up.

Why do background ladders affect boss seeding? They pretty much only affect the player.

I'm worried this change will mean players on the easier platforming difficulties (and only those players) will encounter many boss rooms with no background ladders at all. Which goes against the way difficulties are supposed to go.

In general this won't even come up much. But the background ladders affect bosses for... reasons I forget. Ultimately having that not be the case would of course be ideal.

* Monsters and spells were previously colliding with background ladders during their seeding, which led to all manner of tomfoolery with them not seeding when they should. That's now been fixed so that this no longer happens and thus a much wider variety of monsters (and bosses) can seed in a much wider variety of chunks.
