As awesome as Mantis is, it is terrible for browsing player suggestions to find things to comment on. There's no way to filter it down to "suggestions" in any meaningful fashion. |

I find the search works pretty well but I've been using it on a daily basis at the office for more than 4 years so I'm probably not the best barometer. Also sometimes a bug or issue needs discussion before it's fully understood what the core of the issue is & it's generally better to keep stuff like that in the forums rather than Mantis as otherwise you end up with a lot of clutter in Mantis. |

Mantis is not easier to navigate because there are no filters. I can't find anything I might be interested in reading without setting the filters to include a wide range of things I don't want to see. For instance, if I want suggestions for balance, new ship ideas, UI, and endgame mechanics, then either I have to reset the filters 4 times every time I visit OR I have to include bugs (and all the other suggestion categories). |

Mantis has plenty of filters which can be easily used in tandem. Far more so than the forum. Have you tried using the Advanced Filters option? |

Ah ha, the Category becomes a multi-select. It does lose some of the other filters (such as Hide Status) but those seem to stay in effect. |

Is it possible to save those filter-sets? I saw there are a few pre-defined filters, but i did not find an option to add my own... |

The option exists but evidently has not been configured for our use at present. It's possible this was intentional; or perhaps not. Arcen Mantis is still pretty new. We should ask Chris if there's any reason we can't have it! |
