I have noticed this also - quite a significant difference actually (certainly on Vista x64/Logitech mouse drivers installed). ArcDM - do you have any specific mouse driver installed? Or is this a global issue? |

I notice a significant discrepancy in zooming rates when I change the 'zoom increments' in the options. I like using finer increments (the slider to the right), but this only seems to affect zooming out. zooming in seems to have a fixed zoom-in multiplier. I'm seeing this in 4.038. Most noticable by cranking the 'zoom increments' slider all the way to the right and then zooming in all the way on a planet, then zooming out a little bit, then try zooming in/out one mouse wheel tick at a time. |

Keith, I've been through this a bunch of times, but there must be something wrong with my logic. Can you look at it and see if you spot it? That will be faster than me banging my head on it some more, I think. |

The risk of making the mouse worse right before 5.0 is too high; deferring this until later. |
