Summary0010270: Change chunk progression direction to 'left to right' and 'bottom to top' exclusively
DescriptionI noticed in the last few changelogs that you guys are beginning to remove things that, while were there for continuity, aren't exactly making sense anymore, like angled shooting and storm dashing.

I was thinking the other day about how this game is going for the ActRaiser "build a nation one level at a time" feel by dropping exploration, but the platforming elements in the game don't fit together. In a game where your goal by and large is to go both right and up, there are screens where you begin on the right and top and must work leftward and downward. This is very weird for those "building climb" missions where you must enter building after building to go up and right, but there are chunks inside that largely go the opposite direction.

This is even more apparent of an issue in the game's opening, where a game is supposed to help you figure out basic controls. You begin at the top of the keep get told to go to your room, work left, and fall (I haven't even learned how to jump yet, control my jump yet, of even if I want to fall in the first place), and must go left to your room (and nobody ever told me where it was, so I had to explore to find it, a mechanic Valley 2 is trying to remove). I think the right to left issue could be fixed here by changing the intro to start you in your room and work your way up to the overlord for the crystal, then backtracking to leave.

The freefall sections after windmills probably shouldn't change though. The point there is to "escape down out of the building".

As for regular chunks though, most I've seen could just switch the entry and exit positions and things would remain as difficult as before. In fact, if you do this, then you open yourselves up to making the keep a more interesting dungeon. If the game is about going right and up, then the keep's dungeon might want to be a left and down path to be "unnatural" and in stark contrast to what is left of Environ.
