| Description | Let's say that I map my interact button to LB (for the platforming sections), while keeping the optimum controls of A and B for manipulating menus, whenever I am them on the map screen I have to press LB to open up the interact with region menu and then use A or B to navigate. Really on the map screen the same button that interacts with the map region should be able to be used to navigate the menus (and I certainly don't want my confirm button on LB). There are a few possible solutions to this 1) Change it so that Confirm interacts with map region rather than Interact (which is left for the platforming sections) 2) Allow Confirm to also be used to interact with map region. 3) Create a separate rebindable Interact with Map region setting. The cleaner solution is to make it so that the Confirm button is used to interact with the region map. This should have no effect on the default keyboard controls as Confirm is mapped to the same key as Interact. The absolute safest option is to create a separate bindable setting, although this would add another entry to the settings page. The other two options seems alright, but there may be something I've overlooked. Any of these solutions should be fine, though. This is pretty much the only thing now stopping me from being able to map my perfect joypad controls. | ||||

For 0.725: * Made the world map controls respond to the Confirm keybind instead of the Interact keybind, to be more consistent with other menus. Thanks :) |
