Summary | 0010672: Empty Planets
Description | WHY does the AI have EVERY (other) LAST PLANET? Include percentage/slider for the population of system by the AI. (80%-100%) Surely scouting and finding an empty rock would be a real nice surprise?

Something like this has been done in the 4th expansion, but it would be nice if a small proportion of the more "barren" planets the AI could seed neutral. Care would need to be taken though thanks to the alerting rules (normally, AI planets adjacent to a non-AI planet, which includes neutral planets, are alerted) to prevent too much AI accumulation very early in the game. |

Techsy730: Please can you add more details with your observation? (Are you talking about the nine nebulae?) Further guidance on application: 1. Around 2 empty planets per human player? -The aim is to provide a little treat... not to knock a hole in the galaxy. 2. Empty planets MEANS Empty, no special buildings or other bonuses. -The point is this little rock is pretty much worthless. 3. Planet has 1 metal and 1 crystal? -"half resources" is one idea (1X metal plus 1X Crystal) and would help increase the speed of games, particularly at the beginning. However I also see the idea of “nothing but gravel” no metal, no crystal working well. Please discuss “3” (Resources on empty planets). |
