When you say they wouldn't work, did you get any kind of error message? Did anything happen? |
|
|
Nope, the action just didn't take place. I didn't take amazing notes at the time but as I recall a menu would open, but upon clicking the menu option (say move survivor) the menu would just close instead of the action taking place. |

Do you have a saved world where this can be reproduced at least semi-reliably, or otherwise have steps I can use to reproduce the problem? |
|

Unfortunately not Keith. The server was running at my brother's house just in order to do some last-minute multiplayer testing before the big release. Maybe I could try messing around with running my own server and seeing if the problem reoccurs, but I have no immediate answers. |

I just had a game with a friend using version 1.002 and noticed the same issue. The way we got around it was that one person was in charge of moving the survivors. If there were any issues with giving orders the user just quit and rejoined the server which would update the survivor positions and also allow orders to be issued again. |

Played a game just now when connecting to another game - the issue appeared to be unit-specific.
There was a skirmisher in the path of Demonaica, but it couldn't move. It initially permitted the mode order to function, but as soon as I identified which square to move to, it remained in the original position (with no message given to why it wouldn't move). However, I could move the soldier to a different square before the next turn started, allowing it to be safe. |

Not sure if this is connected but also there is times when another play in the game is not visible on the world map and any orders they do can't be seen by the other player.
The invisible player is usually fixed after doing a region together but the unit orders requires a rejoin to fix. |
