Description | I find it kind of tedious running against every surface to find hidden passages. Perhaps changing the tile art for hidden passages VERY slightly to reward the observant would make more sense and be more interesting. | ||||

We can't really change the background art, since it could be all sorts of different things. But there are almost always hints as to when there is a secret passage somewhere. In other words, there's something in the deadlands that you clearly can't get to any other way other than a secret somewhere around there. And in the ivanwood marsh, there's a textual clue as well as a visual clue. There shouldn't be any cases where you don't either have the map (like in the barrel swamp or the switch map) or where there's not some other sort of clue. In other words, unlike Zelda 1 we don't expect you to go burning every bush in Hyrule. ;) If there are any cases anyone knows of where we messed that up and forgot to include a clue, by all means let us know! |
