Summary0011074: We Like Hijacking Things (cheat code to remove the Reclamation Immunity)
DescriptionI've always wanted to be able to control some of the AI things like guard posts and eyes but using the Cheat code to give you everything really takes a toll on my framerate and scrapping everything takes forever. So I would like to request a new cheat code to be able to disable the "Reclamation" Immunity for everything from ships to guard posts to Hybrids. Thanks.
(If its easier to just remove all immunities then that's also fine)

Suggested names for the Cheat Code:
Like Stealing Machines From The Machine
We Like Hijacking Things

Do I smell a Homestuck reference?

Have you tried the "ilostit" cheat?

The usage is:

ilostit,<ObjectType>,<X>,<Y>,<Quantity>,<Player>

The ObjectType for a particular unit can be had from the reference tab export spreadsheet.

So if you do:

ilostit,AIGuardian_Widow,1000,1000,17,0

That will cause 17 MkI Widow Guardians to spawn a little southeast-of-center of the planet you're currently looking at, owned by player 0 (the first human player; player 8 is the first AI player).

Actually allowing transfer of ownership of stuff like that would be a huge can of worms that could destabilize your game more than simply creating them in the first place (which may well destabilize it anyway, don't need to encourage it further!).

You can also use the recently-added load_script command to load a script from the RuntimeData/ChatScripts/ directory (which you'd need to create) to execute each line from that file as if it were typed into the chat line. Together with ilostit you can create large batches of specific ships for whoever, etc.

Let me know if there's something you're wanting to do that this doesn't address :)

This cheat is actually a lot better than what I suggested. I just tried it with a lot of things and I'm used to using it now. Thanks.

Ok, thanks for the reply and I'm glad to hear this will suit your purposes :) Closing this one so it drops off my main list.
