I came on to post about this and I agree as it might be hard to just scope around to see what I have placed. Maybe even make it make the screen darker when placing things down, except the tiles which are the same as it? It'll make planning easier. |

I was thinking of having a simple x# on the icon in the build menu or in the tooltip. |

Suggestions for possible resolution methods: - If the same building tile can be highlighted. Obviously don't do it for mountains and plains, but will help to see if I've already build a bakery and how many. - For Chaps, it might be interesting to have a bean-counter on top of the towncenter like in SC2 that shows how many workers are closest to it. It can keep track of how many unique villages have visited deposited resources in that town on the last turn, which is easier (slightly hackier) than doing path-finding to find all nearest villagers. |
