Description | It's occurred to me that the Commandment action is very, very abuseable in it's current state. Let's say that the current situation is that the red side had taken heavy losses, and is currently much weaker than the blue side, and is in danger of being overrun completely. Particularly depending on the current size of the map, it's easy to simply pull the blue army into a far corner and just hold them there until the red guys have had time to build back up. Combined with using Smite to knock out military buildings to halt the blue side's construction of units, this would make it basically impossible to lose at this point. I dont think Smite needs any altering, but I do think Commandment does. Either it needs some sort of heavy cost associated with it, or it needs some sort of big cooldown or limit on uses, like only useable 3 times per round, perhaps, something like that. It's really the only exploit I can think up so far with the current balance, but it's a pretty nasty one that's easy to do. | ||||

Thanks! * Military commandments can now only be placed on enemy buildings and enemy gods, which was their original design. This prevents some of the abuses that otherwise were possible. |
