Don't you think that would get painfully slow for new players, though? I mean, if it was a default that would just be unworkable because people don't think to check for options always. And if it's not the default, I wonder how many new players will really see it. Having a brief pause after important actions (attacks, etc) strikes me as perhaps something that would potentially be more desirable. |

It would get painfully slow after about 5-10 turns, but while learning the game, understanding what these Chapmen, Traders, etc., do seems really important. I would definitely not make it default, but it's awfully hard to miss when it's right next to the "play" button. You could cycle 1x 2x 4x 8x 1/4x 1/2x. Anyway, I think it would have helped my learning curve, that and being able to re-replay the replay. :) |

If you consider this, please allow right click to move "backwards" on the speed toggle instead of having to loop around. Actually, please allow that even if you don't consider this. |

* The speed of each playback level has been halved, so that 1x speed is now half as fast as it was before, and so on. * Right-clicking the playback speed button now allows you to go down (from 2x to 1x, etc) rather than having to always go up and loop around. |
