Description | BALANCE? One unit (Lithlovoli or something odd like that) got a 3x health bonus from ruins. I pumped it immediately up to level 4. It now has 3,000 health and 900 heal per turn. It's probably going to be un-killable. (Turn 25.) We'll see... Maybe the balance should be that you can't give any units more than one level per turn. Granted, this particular unit does only 4 damage - which basically makes it useless for attacking. | ||||

To me this is fine. You are supposed to be balancing both sides so why would you ever want to shoot yourself in the foot like that? Also, are you playing .800? Current Beta release is .804 |

Having something be unkillable is not necessarily a good thing. |

But it was a player created situation. The player should have the option to throw something out of balance as well keep things in balance. It you don't want a unit that is invincible, don't level up those units like Admiral has done. |

Sorry, cross posted with you on that. I was replying to him, making a similar point as you were (though without points, in some cases having an unkillable unit might be more useful). |

A.) This is his own fault. B.) There are ways to take out a 3,000 HP character. (Adamantine, for instance.) Though they might create other problems... C.) Doing something unbalanced for one side and then doing something MORE unbalanced to compensate for it is the core mechanic of this game. |
