| Description | Ok, so I've already opened a mantis on how I think the terminology of "rings" is a bit confusing. While I understand what it technically means, I still can see how this would be a source of confusion for a new person. So instead of removing the rings terminology, how about when you select the town center (or hover over it), it displays the "rings" of where your buildings can be placed. I know when it's green it's valid, and red is invalid, but displaying the physical locations of where things "might" be placed would help to plan things out a bit better. | ||||

Maybe these will help? This was pulled from the upcoming .805 patch notes. The word "within the two rings around the town center" are now replaced with "within two tiles of the town center," for added clarity. While you are in the process of placing buildings, a green underlay is now shown under all the town centers where you may place these buildings. |

No worries. I usually have 4 tabs open up when I'm up and on the forums... Forum, mantis, updates for AIW and updates for SC. With the pace of changes right now, it kinda pays to stay on top of it (for me anyway). |
