Description | I suggest some sort of window or view that shows upcoming production. If there is already a way to do this, it is not obvious. Having to identify unit producing buildings and hover over each to see what is coming when is getting tiring quickly, so having some window that identifies what units will be produced in the next few turns by each side might be helpful. It might also help to tell in the view which town (which links it to another suggestion, town names) Also, a similar prediction of resources to be produced per turn would be great as well. | ||||

@resource prediction: could be a "+" right next to the actual resource count on the resourcetracker. (e.g. 10+1.5) if there is enough place. Otherwise in the tooltips is always a nice place ^^ |

For a long time now, it shows you the resource generation from the prior turn in the last turn report as well as in the resource bar tooltips, as well as the consumption from the prior turn and so forth. Looking forward is something I would think is a lot less useful, I would think. In terms of showing what is coming when on production buildings, it's a little bit tricky. 1. We could show a cooldown on the military buildings if you hold some sort of hotkey. 2. We could show the name of the unit that is "next in queue," but that's not remotely going to be the actual unit produced in all (or even most) cases. 3. The actual unit to be produced is based on the first unit that you have resources for based on what is next in the queue at the exact time that the turn comes up. So that might be the unit that is next in queue, or one that is three or four down the line, etc. Precalculating that is fairly impossible because it is dependent on the expenses and income of future turns, as well as what you spend directly, as well as what finished goods producers you may happen to build in the meantime, etc. |
