Summary0011553: Enabling Broken Golems (Hard) doesn't disable medium in the UI
DescriptionMy previous game had Golems (Medium), and I decided to turn it up to hard in a new game. When I turned on hard, medium stayed selected. This doesn't affect the actual gameplay, in a test I had the hard energy cost and no AIP on activation. (Didn't play long enough to see if an exo would happen.)

So it appears to just be a UI issue. This also applies to Botnet Golems and Spirecraft.
