| Description | I was recently issued a Windows 8 Tablet by my employer, so naturally the first thing I did was to install Skyward Collapse. :D The only big issue I've hit has been how to exit and save the game. There is no escape key (obviously), so I have to hit the "Windows" button to sort of alt-tab out and then kill the process. A simple fix would be to add a menu button on the screen. Overall, the game runs great, and controls well with the stylus. Finger controls could use some fixing up (tooltip and scrolling issues, mostly), but that may be outside the scope of what you want to do. If you want to improve them (perhaps for an iOS port, or Windows Store placement), let me know and I'll be happy to help test/recommend mostly simple changes. | ||||

Cheers! * A small button that opens the menu has been added to the left sidebar, directly under the undo button. This has been requested a number of times, and especially should help on windows 8 tablets. In terms of the other things that would be required... I'm not really sure how that would work in terms of detecting finger motions and so forth for scrolling and tooltips. That's not really something I'm too familiar with. Maybe something of use in the future, but I don't think I'm ready to go down that road yet, heh. |
