Description | So I'm playing a normal ship cap game where I'm trying to take all the Core Turret Controllers when I noticed that Mk V Flak Turrets have... interesting stats. Damage is 196,000 per shot (compare that to the 16,800 per shot of Mk 3 Flak), but ammo type has been changed from Energy Bomb to Shell and the shots do no AoE damage. This means currently a full turret cap of 24 Mk V Flak does a whooping 784,000 single target DPS without bonus multipliers. For comparison, a full cap of 48 Mk V Needler turrets does only 416,000 DPS without mulipliers. So right now they're basically Super-Needler turrets, which while cool by me since even H/Ks are afraid of them, I'm pretty sure is not their intended function. :) | ||||
