Description | There are a number of commands that limit automatic consumption of resources. You can disallow engineers assisting large projects. However, this applies not only to building, but the 10% cost repair as well, which is almost always a good idea (T3+ Ion canons being my only known exception, I usually let them die if possible. Not worth the repair cost) ~Seperate Assist large project to -Assist Large Build (Need to include broken Golem repair in this category.) -Assist Large Repair (Generally cheaper and more effective per cost, so should rarely have a limit) -Assist Large Module (Spire cities, which are essentially modular ships) The next problem, is for Control Groups. While you can limit production facilities or project construction until you have at least some amount, it also blocks repair, (and possibly modular rebuilding, which tends to be fatal for riot shields or similar) -Build if Have Resources -Repair if Have Resources -Rebuild Modules if have resources. Separated, you can make sure that your reserve cash from production limitations will be used for repair and shield rebuilding before new ship construction. | ||||
