Summary | 0011999: Assist Large Project and Queue Revamp
Description | For Engineer Assist Large Project, Build Que. Currently, it looks at resource costs for a single engineer (with a build rate of 1), which, if, say, it is just barely below the threshold, all 50 or so engineers will go assist and eat your entire economy. While above you have to manually tell them to eat your entire economy. First of all, Combine this behavior (but with different Instead, make it so that it will be willing to spend up to XX resources per second on a single unit. Excess engineers trying to assist automatically will fizzle, and the factory, project, etc, will be considered invalid for auto-assist. -Engineer Death will automatically make it a valid target again. -There is a free single engineer buffer. If adding a single engineer exceeds the limit drastically, it will still accept it, but no more. It can overflow quite a bit safely. If possible, it will reject lesser engineers, to minimize difference. -Manually assigned engineers will not be considered as spending resources for the auto-assist. If you add 3 t3 engineers, the same number of idle engineers will still be allowed to try to assist. That way, you can assign more to a project, but not have to assign some of the idlers too, preventing auto assist elsewhere. *Also add control group specific override *Added bonus, Will give engineers the go-ahead to assist Champs without requiring you to have a economy that vanishes without a moment notice.
