Summary0012380: Unclear what will specifically cause a bot to alert
DescriptionWhich makes it difficult to be precise in those tough situations.

Notes:
Play a bit -- still not clear to me what will cause a bot to alert. In the specific sense. Getting close enough, or shooting (exploding?) near it.. but specifics not clear.
Why did destroying the false wall not alert nearby bots?

Honestly I think this is okay, although I'm open to feedback. Here is my reasoning.

1. This is pretty common in a lot of games, particularly roguelikes and non-stealth games in general. If you get near enemies or do things that would intuitively make them notice you, then they typically will. Sometimes you get lucky and they don't. But the rules are never terribly explicit.

2. In stealth games, you do get notice about the specifics, usually in the form of a sight range or light or whatever that causes them to alert when you are in that range. But there are, in these games, other things that cause them to go on semi-alert that are not clear -- you make a sound or whatever, and they intuitively know to come near you and check things out. This is different from the clarity of their exact alert range, and is also never really explained.

3. In the case of anything other than a direct sight range, how on earth would this information be conveyed? If you shoot a bot, it will alert enemies within X range of it. If you move into X location, it will alert enemies within a certain radius. Etc. There is no good visual way to really show this, and having players counting tiles to try to figure out the specifics is also not something I think we want to encourage.

In other words, I don't think there's anything that really could or should be done here. Given that this hasn't been (to my knowledge) a request from testers in general, I'm thinking that also confirms my feeling that this isn't an issue.

But as I noted, I'm willing to discuss it.

After playing more, I think it is fine as-is. Not being entirely sure how many bots you will pull is part of the fun for me.

I should scrub my initial feedback for issues like these. End of day today at the earliest.
