Description | Increasing the Virus cost of DoomBots, bosses, and other dangerous bots was a good move for balance. I wanted to make mention of a few other bots that should probably be given the same treatment. The bot that grants an attack boost (definitely). The bot that grants a shield boost (probably). If the player can keep their new friends alive for a few turns, every single bot can get a mission-long attack and/or defense boost. This is extremely powerful, and makes the rest of the mission drastically easier. It would make sense for these bots to cost a bit more to 'befriend'--assuming this behavior was intentional in the first place. Incidentally, this does not matter for the Bot that grants free turns (Mastermind?), as this has no actual effect on the player. | ||||

For 0.925: * Virus cost is now 3x for CommandBots (which give a significant mission-long shield boost) and 5x for LeaderBots (which give a significant mission-long attack boost). Thanks :) |
