Summary | 0012610: Inventory managment is not fun
Description | There are too many options and items to keep track of to make taking care of my exo's inventory fun, Between my 4 Exo's I have something like 60 slots and each item has 3 or 4 stats. It's too much to enjoy tracking, I'm overwhelmed, I have no idea if my Exos have good items and I'm not going to check thorough all the slots each mission to find out. Suggestions: Fewer slots, more powerful items A dedicated window that lets you actively and easily compare and decide where items should go after the mission you get them in.

Rather than cutting the complexity or the number of slots for Exo management; which i find rather interesting to 'fine tune' my exos, i would suggest, if it is possible, to have a behind the scenes process, which just assigns available modules into reactor, shields, propulsion, computer or weapon slots as available. The logic here doesn't have to be extensive, maybe something extremely simple, like do i have a computer module? do i have an open computer slot in one of my exos? then slot it. Of course if there are power issues, using more than the exo is producing kind of thing, or if a player wants to assign most of a hacking points to a certain exo, say science, or beef up the laser on the ninja, of shields on the assault, or whatever preferences the player wants, then the player can address that directly and so we won't need extensive coding or logic to handle those kinds of things. Also for players that do like to 'fine tune' their exos, the ability will still be there by simply unclicking the 'auto slot' button. |

I would be perfectly happy with a button/checkbox that gives/keeps my exos in a decently good configuration, which I can then tweak. It's not that their isn't some good enjoyment in slotting awesome parts into my exo, it's that there is too much slotting decent/average parts into too many exos. |
