| Description | Right now you can't put items you can afford on layaway. I first realized this a while back, but didn't think that would be very useful. Playing now and relatively cash constrained, there are some items I would like to have available to purchase, but not purchase them quite yet (maybe I get what I need on the next mission, if not then I'll buy it...) As it is now, I can maintain items on layaway indefinitely, as long as I couldn't afford them when I first put it on layaway, which isn't consistent Two options for consistency here: 1) Remove the 'Layaway' tag when you can afford an item 2) Allow me to 'Layaway' an item that I can afford. I prefer option 2, easiest implementation is right click to layway and that seems ok to me. Or maybe you can cook up something better. This would also allow you to simplify the explanation about how the layaway/buy interaction works. (see linked issue 0012773) | ||||

For 0.928: * Changed "put an item in layaway" to be a separate UI action from "buy item" on the Buy tab of the Store window: now you shift-click to put something in layaway (regardless of whether you can afford it). Thanks :) |
