Description | This would obviously have to be done after 1.0 is out. How about adding a real boss bot (i.e. one that occupies more than one tile) to lead the robot horde in the final battle (Lord Dredmor, aehm Murdoch anyone?) The introduction of more variety in terms of bot sizes and special capabilities would be great stuff for an expansion as well (imho ; )). | ||||

Entities larger than one tile are definitely not coming to this game engine, ever, as it would break tons of assumptions throughout. The regular boss bots that already are in the game are only seen in the final battle already! Except if you do assassination missions, which is kind of the point. They are already limited to the end, and are very much boss bots of the sort we'd ever really have. |
