Description | This actually applies to a change listed for 0.936, which hasn't been released yet. AvalancheBot creates electric floor tiles when it moves. I'm guessing the tiles are usually going to deal lethal damage when they have the 10x modifier in Overdrive missions. So if AvalancheBot-generated electric floors block the exit, you might not be able to complete the mission despite having more than enough firepower to kill everything! A few different possible fixes come to mind: 1) Don't apply the 10x modifier to electric floors (maybe a smaller multiplier like 2x or 3x instead) 2) Don't apply the 10x modifier to electric floors generated by AvalancheBots (maybe a smaller multiplier like 2x or 3x instead) 3) Don't let AvalancheBots spawn in overdrive missions I like option 2) myself, having either no modifier for AvalancheBot-generated floor tiles in Overdrive missions, or a 2x modifier. | ||||

For 0.937: * Electric floors now no longer get the overdrive bonus. Just the mines now, really. Thanks :) Once the floor has been created there's nothing that says who put it there, and even if there were it's a bit of info we don't want to have to communicate to the player in a succinct fashion. |
