Description | If there are no mobile enemies on screen, the player can fire on cover (or on ground using shift) during their moving animation. If done so, they fire from their new position at their previous target even if the previous target is out of line of sight or even weapon range! Functionally, this has the same effect as firing first and then moving - except in the case of stealth, you clearly break stealth on the second tile, not the first tile. Since enemies (except maybe Bats) are not mobile during stealth, this allows a player to fire on targets while moving out of range. EDIT: Added note.
