Summary	0013170: Background fade-ins too slow
Description	The background fade-ins behind various screens is a nice effect, but it's fast enough to grab my attention and slow enough to be a noticeable distraction. This is probably one of those things I'm a little more sensitive to than most, but I think a faster fade-in would draw attention to the artwork (which definitely deserves it) while not getting in the way of using the screen in front of the art. As an aside, is there a way to look at the background art for the various races and planets without the UI elements in front of it? It's not something that I expect to do very often, but it can be satisfying to glare balefully at the Skylaxian Senate when they're being recalcitrant or gaze upon the peaceful vistas of a gas giant while contemplating how best to handle a delicate political situation.
