Description | http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esrI3sRQeBw&feature=youtu.be You can see that the flagship is jittering on the screen, makes me a little seasick. It's also turning left and right wildly. To prove that I'm not moving the mouse or right clicking, you can see me firing the cannon. I'm not pressing any keys. | ||||

I had this happen two a couple times. Is this what happens when you hit the edge of the map perhaps? It seemed to occur along a "line" for me. |

I've seen this when I use "right click" to move and the flagship reaches the point where I clicked. |

I've tried everything I can think of to duplicate this, with no success. Any ideas are much appreciated. |

Okay, I haven't been able to duplicate this, but I have put in what MAY be a fix for it. Please let me know if you see it in .803 or later, once that's out. Thanks! |

Hmmm. I used the same resolution, and am on that OS. In that save, I went and did an attack pirate base mission, and it worked just fine. I had the battle speed at 1.0, and was all the way zoomed in. I adjusted the battle speed down to about half, and up to 3.5, and both also worked fine. I tried right-clicking and holding shift and right clicking, and fiddling with WASD at the same time, etc. I tried clearing all my settings and going into fullscreen with a low resolution, and I was able to get a slight jitter, but nothing like what you were experiencing above. I will work on what I found, and see if that fixes your worse jitter also. If you hold down the shift key while you are getting jitter, what do you see? Is it rapidly changing the line of the movement? If so, can you post a save where it is already doing that, in battle? |

Well, I did find this, although I don't think this was actually your issue: * Put in a fix that prevents some slight viewport jitter around your ship as it moves that apparently happens if your framerate is below a certain amount. |

Okay, I CAN duplicate this when I get too far from the combat center, now. We'll see if this is it -- putting in a fix for this now. |

Yes! * Fixed and issue that could cause your ship to go all wobbly at the edge of the "playing area" in certain kinds of battles. There is no longer any real bound to the playing area. Thanks for all the extra info, that really helped me track it down in the end. :) |
