| Description | So in this save the boarines and peltians are friendly, but for some reason (is this intentional?) the boarines are also attacking the peltians. There's also a boarine pirate attacking the peltians, might this be the reason? Either way - I wanted to defend the peltians because it's getting worryingly close to them being overpowered on their own planet, so I decided to do that and take the influence hit with the boarines. I selected the appropriate option (from friendly actions) but as soon as the battle started my ship warped out - possibly because I was set to hold fire against both races, and both races were set to hold fire against me? The boarines, since they were attacking, ought to have been set to hostile in this particular encounter, right? Not entirely sure why, but I think you should look at it - just load the save and then help the peltians. (Additionally - I didn't suffer any influence penalties with the boarines for saying I'd help the peltians then warping off - which is probably a good thing). | ||||

For 0.852: * Previously the help-defenders-against-invaders action was specified to only make an invading race hostile to you personally if your influence with them was below a certain point. This led to some cases where the combat would be over before it started (due to there not being any hostile-to-you ships at all), so now all the invading sides will be hostile to you in that type of combat.
