Description | With the combat balance tweaks regarding special abilities, more thoughtful decisions could be made if the player was allowed to customize the ship prior to starting the first turn of each combat. Implementing this allows the player to be more cognizant of what abilities are useful in each different battle. The current process is: look at a mission and decide to do it....Go back to solar map....Go to ship customization screen and change abilities and weapons...Go back to solar map....Go back to the mission you were looking at and play it. This is a huge number of wasted clicks, so I have mostly been just sticking with a single loadout even if it is not ideal. | ||||

Good idea I rarely use the customise option in the game this will make me think and check before combat starts. |

good idea, would be better as a pop-up window before entering combat mode in my opinion... dosen't seem right to be able to see the map/enemies/ship list and then customise your ship accordingly, but to reminded of the possibilty of customising your ship to the mission _before_ it starts at all is a really good idea! |
