Also, the AI of the troop ships is horrendous. They seem to intentionally avoid the drop point. |

Alternative idea: They continue fly in pairs (or perhaps larger groups), but they beeline straight to the drop point in their queued order regardless of what you do, so you fly around whatever it takes to keep the damn lemmings alive. On the other hand, that might trigger bad cases of escort quest rage... |
