Summary	0014187: Deployed squadrons should not fire immediately
Description	I've seen this make a severe impact in the game on several occasions. Either you (or an enemy flagships would deploy a squadron while in close proximity to an opposing flagship, and the resulting alpha would obliterate them (especially the case with lancers and a downed shield). For the player side, this adds a large unnecessary risk to getting into point-blank range - and related to the issue of Burlust missiles, since players can't really risk getting that close for the missiles to aim and hit reliably. Hence no squadrons should fire the turn that they have been deployed.

keith.lamothe Apr 23, 2014 12:51 pm administrator ~0036554	For 1.005: * Squadrons deployed mid-combat now cannot fire that turn, they must wait until the next turn to fire. Avoids insta-death from Lancer squadrons that didn't even exist when you were planning your move, etc. Thanks :)
