I think the easy balance option for the short term is to remove the credit payment for the relations mission and instead add a cost in credits per month. This will mean you need to do other kinds of missions at least.

Yes, it should be costly since its technically a propaganda campaign, and propaganda campaigns tend to usually be expensive since it takes alot of money to advertise to the masses.

I think perhaps it shouldn't work beyond a certain positive relation. Like if relations are already +50 or higher it would no longer be an option.

That would make sure you wouldn't be able to grind/spam it and it would only be for recovering from lower numbers.

I like Professor Paul1290 idea but let me expand on that.

We can put Relations into Tiers that go up in cost based on its range.


1x cost : Neutral
3x cost : From +51 to +100
4x cost: From +101 to +150
5x cost: : From +151 to +200
?????

with Venerated being at x10 cost as Neutral in Credits.
