Summary0001444: Melee ships should attack Hive modules.
DescriptionAlthough Hybrid-Hive weapon modules are not blade immune, Melee ships (such as the Z-Shredder) will not automatically attack the modules to strip them off hives.

Is this due to the preference of ships to attack the base ship over any modules it may have?

"Lower" modules are pretty much ignored by all autotargeting just to make things easier on the cpu and whatnot. There's _rarely_ a tactical advantage to be had by attacking a laser or machine gun module.

I'll think about it, but I'm not really planning to change this.
