| Description | An advanced warp sensor like device that provides wave type and possibly origin information in attack and/or threat pop-ups at the top of the screen but only after the wave arrives. This would help players who play with no wave warnings if that sort of information isn't revealed to the player on the wave's arrival. (I don't often play with no wave warnings on so I'm not certain how it works currently.) This unlock would also be a way of keeping that information around longer after the wave warning disappears (before you destroy them of course) but it would be the most useful with no wave warnings on. Its sounds like a candy tech in that you would normally not bother but in the right circumstance you might want it. | ||||

Just FYI, wave warnings on tells you: Number of ships, ship type, destination system, and countdown timer (starts at 2:30 usually). |

I'm aware of that, I usually play with wave warnings turned on. My suggestion is about slightly different information, in case you misunderstood: Wave kind and if applicable wave origin, rather than destination. (see x4000's idea in the related idea linked above.) ex: Is it a normal wave, a scrap wave? If it's a scrap wave where is it from? |
