Summary | 0014565: SteamCloud Save Synchronization
Description | No idea if it's a setting that you guys can change or if it requires a change on Steam's end, but it would be really handy to be able to sync saves and profiles using SteamCloud. (Alternately, hey! SteamCloud doesn't work for TLF in Linux.) :)

I can't speak to Linux, but on Steam in Windows, once TLF is installed, it can be run directly from the executable within */SteamApps/The Last Federation. No further need (it appears) to launch Steam. It even updates on its own. |
|
The game runs fine in Linux. I'm talking about SteamCloud. Open Steam and right click on TLF and select Properties. Click on the Updates tab. For TLF (and Bionic Dues, for that matter) there are two sections, Automatic Updates and Background downloads. For several other games that I have, including EU4, FTL and Shadowrun Returns, there's a third section, Steam Cloud. Steam Cloud uploads saves to...well, Steam's cloud. Hopefully, this would let you synchronize saves and profiles across multiple computers. |
|
I'd like SteamCloud support, too, but you can always change the save location to dropbox or similar. |
