| Description | Recently in the game I was working towards improving my relationships with the Peltians. At 85 influence, the descriptor was normal (can't remember what it is, something along the lines of "they like you"). After doing some friendly action, I was informed that I had gotten +4 influence and that my influence was now "Neutral (89.4). I've attached a screenshot of the politics screen below, but this is a consistent thing: every screen that notes influence says the Peltians are neutral to me. I do not know if they are actually functionally neutral to me (which would be a much bigger issue) or if this is just a text error. I'm filing it as a gameplay bug in case it is the former. | ||||

I've seen this issue also happen with RCI values. >-1 = 'mediocre' [-1, -24] = 'bad' -24.x = 'mediocre' <-25 = 'awful' |

If they were functionally neutral to you I think the "federation deals" menu would be red so I assume you can use it. It might be just a text error. EDIT: Wrong, sorry you can use this even when you're neutral, but the text just beneath the neutral thing looks like it is the one corresponding to your influence. |

Thanks! * Put in some changes to fix a bug where influence, attitude, and RCI values could fall through to "neutral" as a default because of the switch to floating-point numbers not registering them properly in any range if they were very specific values. |
