Summary0014646: Autoresolve not giving influence gain or shortening splinter group attacks
DescriptionThough it promises thirty influence points with the Andors, and a bunch of Federation points for everyone, using autoresolve when attacking a splinter group does not give you influence for the fight, nor is it showing the "Shortened Pirate Attacks" result. It skips those and goes right to the rescued pilots at the end of the list.

I'm attaching a screenshot that shows this: note how on autoresolve, it skips the shortening of the splinter group attacks, the influence, and the Federation points and gets right to the rescued pilots. I can confirm that influence doesn't change.

This is an awesome example of why I did this as a beta build rather than pushing it out to everyone. ;) I tested the things where your influence gains and credit gains were based on kills, but had not gotten to test this particular part. Man this feature took forever.

I know this isn't what the report is about, but I have to say this too: I don't think the autoresolve is giving me enough credit. I can clean this mission up without much trouble, but it still tells me "this is what you got before you had to flee" if I try to autoresolve too early.

Okay, I'll check into it tomorrow afternoon while my son is sleeping. The autoresolve is in really early stages right now in terms of being really fully fleshed out on every angle. The code is 95% there, it's a huge thing, but that last 5% takes a lot of tuning and checking, and that has just barely the tiniest bit begun. It will probably take a few days until this is really what I'd call "official ready," but we'll see.

* Fixed a (very substantial) issue with auto-resolve in the prior version where it would not actually count auto-resolutions as victories in most cases, and would thus lead to you not getting the stated rewards from before accepting the contract (though you would get the ship kill rewards and so on from during the auto-resolve period).
