Description | It seems currently like projectiles get a velocity based on the absolute coordinate system instead of being relative to the attacker's own velocity. Not only is that unrealistic but more importantly it makes kiting easier because slower shots have effectively less range when pursuing an enemy vs. when running away from him. Also it looks ridiculous when an afterburning ship can outrun its own projectiles. Of course the weapon aim would have to attempt to compensate for the attacker's momentum so it wouldn't affect accuracy, just shot travel times. |
