DescriptionModel Design Issue: All technological gifts have the same influence gain despite having vastly different resource requirements to research. So a tech that takes 1 month to research has value equal to one that takes 50 - for instance.

Model Design Issue: Expending Goons to help races more quickly research and/or build makes them LESS grateful to you ?.? There should be an influence gain for each goon expended in the process of completing such a dispatch mission.

Model Design Issue: Static influence gains despite having better tech research capabilities. So basically, despite the fact that I may have VASTLY superior research capabilities to a given race, my helping them research is still worth the same (ie, even though it would've taken them 140 months to research because they have no science boosting tech, I swoop in with all such techs and they're like "meh, only worth 1.5 influence because it didn't take you very long..." Serriously, I just cut their research/build times down by, say, 135 months and they're only as grateful as if I hadn't saved them any? In fact if I didn't have said technologies (and/or goons) I could've gained 42 influence instead of 1.5... So basically they like stupid people who aren't really all that helpful, but stick around for a while, more than people who are smart and effective and save them TONS of time? Sure, I get that the real world is often like this, but let's be fair shall we? :)

Proposal: Research/build dispatches should grant bonus influence upon completion (only) for the amount of time it saved the dispatching planet (plus the standard amount granted for time spent among their culture I guess?). (ie, if it would've taken 10 years, and you got it done in 5 months, they should be hailing you as the God of Science and errecting statues in your honor). Gifting a tech (or station/etc) could be fixed by basically treating it as 100% of this bonus (ie, saved 100% of the time/resources required), which would also fix the station gifting issue. This would mean that researching at a planet with better research bonusses (and using no goons) would yield 100% dispatch value and 0% bonus value (because it took you as long to research/build as it would've for them had they done it on their own, but you allowed them to do it at the same time they were doing something else - of course they paid you for your time, so the bonus is appropriately small). Also, the bonus's influence reward should be higher (per month saved) than the base value of the dispatch (per month served), because not only are you using (possibly vast amounts of) your own resources (either technoogy or cash/goons) to speed up their gain, you are further saving them the monthly expense of hiring you as well...
