Description | Things like "broker trade route" could play out as tactical missions instead of simply paying some creds and waiting for time to advance. (I imagine a tactical mission where you have to protect the two "delegate" ships from forces that could intefere, like any races at war with either side trying to prevent the meet. Other similar missions could have similar tactical missions determine their length, etc, instead of boring arbitrary numbers. Colonize moons could have tactical missions that involve blowing up scrap, or resident wildlife, or whatever, to clear the way for the colonists. etc. Basically anything that isn't a dispatch mission and requires simulation time should be done as a tactical mission instead of an arbitrary static wait time. The potential for other mini-games for these kinds of tasks also exists, but I think there's enough change of pace between the tactical and strategic already, I just think more opportunities for tactical encounters would be great. (If there are no opponents to the action, the whatever minimal time should still just be autoexecuted, so it's not like you'll have to face pointless tactical missions every time you try to do something. But more OPPORTUNITIES for such activities would be good in my opinion.) | ||||
