| Description | So, in my game just now the Acutians declared war on the Evucks; not surprising since the Evucks had no ships! The Evucks offered me two quests, one a joint mission to invade and the other a joint mission for orbital bombing. However, I decided not to do either and instead prevent Acutian aggression by pre-emptively destroying their fleet. Result: With the Acutian fleet destroyed, the Evucks cancelled their quests. They said the window in enemy armadas had closed up! Something is not quite right here... | ||||

Did the time you spent killing the Acutian fleet possibly make the quests expire due to time-out? |

No. I got the message that specifically said the quests had been cancelled for some reason, rather than the time expiring due to being ignored. |

It's a tricky thing. You killed all the armadas at the target planet, so there is nothing there to defend against you. Therefore, nothing to punch through, really. I am still mulling what to do with this sort of quest when that happens. |
