I've had an odd occurrence in my current game. I playing with unexplored planet viewing off, but my science team has cheerfully informed me the name of the planet the new signal is on... despite not encountering the planet. Perhaps if the planet hasn't been found, there should be a "the signal is too distant for now" message, but as soon as you uncover the correct planet the science team informs you of your discovery? |

I was going to post this as a separate suggestion, but it's related and very minor. Along with this, can the shard show as an important unit on the galaxy view planet mouseover information? Similar to the way that things like asteroids or comm stations or ARSes show right now, in the icon list at the top. Right now it's listed with all the fleet ships at the bottom. Poor little shard deserves more respect. |
