Summary0015197: Fear Empire Weariness led to a game with no relevant actions possible
DescriptionIn a hard strategy game, the Burlust formed a Fear Empire. This led to all other races hating my player, even gifting technology and helping with armada construction was insufficient to keep influence from reaching -100 quite fast. As a result, I could perform no friendly action besides help with armada construction. The fear empire entered war with the three remaining races and got its fleets destroyed, but at 1.5 trillion ground forces in its weakest planet, it lost no visible ground forces even after 25 solar years. Furthermore, of all avaiable hostile actions, the only one that had any impact whatsoever was hire saboteur, and even this was mild, at most.
Well then, personally, I find fear empire weariness led to a ridiculosly anticlimatic lockdown of a game that was quite exciting and interesting. I also think that hostile actions are nigh irrelevant, there should be some more enfatic possibilities, like perhaps raiding those support structures that appear on orbital combat (even if there are not any enemy armadas around), directly reduce the planets RCI ratings, or anything more interesting...
