I'd like there to be a rework the "X massive ships approaching" notification, so that it's more detailed.

I do not currently have a warning if specific threats (golems, dire guardians, hunter/killers, motherships) are headed my way, and the massive ship notification doesn't help unless I just so happen to notice it gaining an extra digit or two. And even then it requires me manually looking through almost every AI system one after the other in order to find and identify the threat properly.

What we need is seperate notifications for all the really dangerous things:
- Warning, X Carriers (Y total amount of ships within them, Z total amount of Power within them) detected!
- Warning, X Spirecraft (Y Power) detected! (Though they're only dangerous if above MKIII)
- Warning, X Golems (Y Power) detected!
- Warning, X Dire Guardians (Y Power) detected! (I think these aren't even included in the current "massive ship" notification)
- Warning, X Hunter/Killers (Y Power) detected!
- Warning, X Motherships (Y Power) detected!
- Warning, X Avengers (Y Power) detected!
- Warning, X AI Champions (Y Power) detected!
- Warning, X AI Spire Capital Ships (Y Power) detected! (from "Spire Hammer" AI)

And so on (in case I forgot some specific lategame threat).

It should be possible to see whether any of these are present on a planet just from the planet's summary. Currently that's only true for golems (all the others are only listed as text among ALL OTHER SHIPS on the planet), so I usually have to spend a lot of time checking all AI planets with large fleets on them manually to see if Hunter/Killers or Dire Guardians are there.

I remember asking about this once, and another player explained that a "massive ships" isn't what you think it is - it's just the leader of an exo attack group. It could be a lowly starship.

That's not quite how I experience it. I usually have one of those warnings stick around for hours (from a single golem or a single spirecraft just relaxing on an AI planet - and afaik exos do not stay stationary, but always rush to attack).
Also, I often see multiple "massive ships" within a single attack group and they'll all be counted into the global "massive ships" warning.

Take a look at this sillyness (from the "I think I accidentally defender mode." topic) for example:

This is one wave (Quote: "This was the first wave, mind you."), not 7000 seperate waves. Also since in this case it was defender mode, I'm not sure if it even was subject to normal exo rules.


Also, there are ways for those huge threats to appear other than exo waves (dire guardian lairs, golem-using, spirecraft-using, champion-using, spirefleet-using AI types with CPAs, etc.).


And regardless of that, it doesn't change the fact that the current warning is not useful enough and we NEED a SPECIFIC warning for each of the seperate super-threats when they're within scouted territory.

Oh ok, my mistake. I've barely played in the last 6 months so it might have changed since.
